Our story

What We Do:

Rescue & Rehome: Saving abandoned puppies, kittens, and street animals, and placing them into loving forever homes.

Medical Care: Providing essential veterinary treatment for injured and sick animals.

Community Outreach: Running feeding programs for street animals and promoting responsible pet ownership.

Animal Warriors began with two sisters dedicated to helping neglected and abandoned animals in their local community. As the need grew and our team expanded, we officially registered as a Non-Profit Organization (NPO 266-910) to broaden our reach and deepen our impact.

Over the years, we’ve been incredibly grateful for the support of our community and amazing partners like Montego, whose donations of food and supplies keep our mission moving forward.

Our NPO is dedicated to animal rescue and welfare, providing hundreds of animals with a safe haven each year. We believe in giving every animal a second chance through rehabilitation and adoption.

Founded in 2024, our organization has grown thanks to a community of passionate volunteers and sponsors. We focus on rescuing, fostering, and placing abandoned and neglected animals into loving homes.

Through education, advocacy, and outreach, we promote responsible pet ownership and support the humane treatment of all creatures. Your involvement makes a tangible difference in their lives.

Our Second Chance stories

Chrissy's Story

Chrissy is a little female dog that Chris picked up when she was very young and tiny. She was severely infested with ticks and fleas, had tick bite fever, and her gums were almost white, showing just how sick she was. She also had a very upset tummy, which we quickly noticed when we got home.
We immediately dipped her to remove all the ticks and fleas, but when she didn't improve, we took her to the vet. Her blood count was low because of the tick bite fever, and she was given medication that we administered for several weeks. With lots of care, love, and patience, we slowly nursed her back to health.
Today, Chrissy is a healthy, beautiful, slightly chubby little dog with a feisty personality all of her own. She doesn't listen to anyone, does everything on her own terms, and keeps us entertained every day. She has truly blossomed into a happy little dog who, quite adorably, looks just like a loaf of bread.
